DeveloperX - Simulates a professional programming environment. It is the perfect coding for kids app that teaches inquiring minds the basics of coding.

Do you want to get under the hood of how software is created? We understand that coding can be intimidating, especially for kids. We created an app centered on coding for kids that decodes programming in a user-friendly environment.

Would you like to try programming for yourself? Developer X is a code app that prepares children of all ages for a future career in programming. We studied other programming apps and saw a need for an app that taught computer coding for kids in a fun and simple format.

DeveloperXs revolutionary design gives you the experience of coding, building and testing apps. If you have looked at coding apps in the past that provide coding basics for kids specifically and felt that they left a lot to be desired, DeveloperX is the coding for kids app youve been waiting for.

When you tap a program set in the main collection of the coding app for kids, you will see
the lines of code with 2 or 3 lines missing marked by empty blue containers. You will also see the visual goal and a stack of blue tiles. To complete the code puzzle, drag blue tiles in any order near one of the empty blue containers.

Arranging the code in a new way will produce different test output. The Test Output from at least one arrangement of tiles will match your “Visual Goal.”

Once the empty program slots are filled, the “Build” function becomes available where build warnings and errors are displayed.

If there are no build errors, the test function will produce test output and a test message. These messages are modeled on the real messages that are produced by the development environment.

PROGRAM SETS:

GRAPHICS: Sleep Time, Steps, Blossom Cafe, Coloring, 1 Cup Coffee, Bird Migration, Bird Sighting, Sorted Wishes, Lettering, Bird Foods, Typewriter, Bird Rows.

ANIMATION: Drive A Car, Bounce, Collection, Leader, Spring, Burst, Abacus, Face.

Program sets are designed to use color, images, fonts and animations to highlight different test outputs..

LEARNING MODEL: The learning model for DeveloperX is experimental meaning "learning through reflection on doing.”
